TWO FRIENDS WERE WALKING THROUGH THE DESERT.

DURING SOME POINT OF THE JOURNEY, THEY HAD AN ARGUMENT;

AND ONE FRIEND SLAPPED THE OTHER ONE IN THE FACE.



THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED WAS HURT,

BUT WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING,

WROTE IN THE SAND:

TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE.



THEY KEPT ON WALKING, UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS,

WHERE THEY DECIDED TO TAKE A BATH.

THE ONE WHO HAD BEEN SLAPPED GOT STUCK IN THE MIRE STARTED DROWNING,

BUT THE FRIEND SAVED HIM.



AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM THE NEAR DROWNING,

HE WROTE ON A STONE:

"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND

SAVED MY LIFE ".



THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND ASKED HIM,

"AFTER I HURT YOU, YOU WROTE IN THE SAND

AND NOW, YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?"



THE FRIEND REPLIED

"WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN IN SAND,

WHERE WINDS OF FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY.

BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOES SOMETHING GOOD FOR US,

WE MUST ENGRAVE IT IN STONE WHERE NO WIND CAN EVER ERASE IT."



LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND

AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.



IT TAKES A MINUTE TO FIND A SPECIAL PERSON,

AN HOUR TO APPRECIATE THEM,

A DAY TO LOVE THEM,

BUT;

AN ENTIRE LIFE TO FORGET THEM.



SEND THIS PHRASE TO THE PEOPLE YOU'LL NEVER FORGET.

I JUST DID.

IF YOU DON'T SEND IT TO ANYONE,

IT MEANS YOU'RE IN A HURRY

AND THAT YOU'VE FORGOTTEN YOUR FRIENDS.

the prayer

You never know when God is going to bless you.
Good things happen when you least expect them to.

Dear Lord,
I thank You for this day.
I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning.
I'm blessed because You are a forgiving
and an understanding God.
You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me.

Forgive me this day for everything I have done,
said or thought that was not pleasing to you.
I ask now for Your forgiveness.
Please keep me safe from all danger and harm.

Help me to start this day with a new attitude
and plenty of gratitude.
Let me make the best of each
and every day to clear my mind
so that I can hear from You.

Please broaden my mind that I can accept all things.
Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over.
And It's the best response

I pray for those that are lost
and can't find their way.
I pray for those that are misjudged
and misunderstood.
I pray for those who don't know You intimately.
I pray for those that don't believe.

But I thank you that I believe.
I believe that God changes people
and God changes things.

I pray for all my sisters and brothers.
For each and every family member in their households.
I pray for peace,
love
and joy
in their homes that they are out of debt
and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye
that reads this knows there is no problem,
circumstance,
or situation greater than God.

Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight.
I pray that these words be received
into the hearts of every eye that sees it.

If we cant say something nice, it s wise not say anything at all.

Me, Just Checking In

A minister passing through his church in the middle of the day,
Decided to pause by the altar and see who had come to pray.

Just then the back door opened,
a man came down the aisle..
The minister frowned as he saw the man hadn't shaved in a while.
His shirt was kind a shabby
and his coat was worn and frayed,
the man knelt,
he bowed his head,
then rose and walked away.

In the days that followed,
each noon time came this chap,
each time he knelt just for a moment,
A lunch pail in his lap.

Well,
the minister's suspicions grew,
with robbery a main fear,
He decided to stop the man and ask him,

"What are you doing here?

The old man said,
he worked down the road.
Lunch was half an hour.
Lunchtime was his prayer time,
For finding strength and power.

I stay only moments,
see because the factory is so far away;
as I kneel here talking to the Lord,
This is kind a what I say:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY,
BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY.
SO, MY LORD, THIS IS JIM CHECKING IN TODAY."

The minister feeling foolish,
told Jim, that was fine.
He told the man he was welcome to come
and pray just anytime.

Time to go, Jim smiled,
said

"Thanks."

He hurried to the door.

The minister knelt at the altar,
he'd never done it before.
His cold heart melted, warmed with love,
and met with GOD there.
As the tears flowed, in his heart,
he repeated old Jim's prayer:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, LORD,
HOW HAPPY I'VE BEEN, SINCE WE FOUND EACH OTHER'S FRIENDSHIP
AND YOU TOOK AWAY MY SIN.
I DON'T KNOW MUCH OF HOW TO PRAY,
BUT I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY SO,
LORD, THIS IS ME CHECKING IN TODAY."

Past noon one day,
the minister noticed that old Jim hadn't come.
As more days passed without Jim, he began to worry some.

At the factory, he asked about him,
learning he was ill.
The hospital staff was worried,
But he'd given them a thrill.
The week that Jim was with them,
Brought changes in the ward.
His smiles, a joy contagious.
Changed people, were his reward.
The head nurse couldn't understand why Jim was so glad,
when no flowers, calls or cards came,
Not a visitor he had.

The minister stayed by his bed,
He voiced the nurse's concern No friends came to show they cared.
He had nowhere to turn.

Looking surprised,
old Jim spoke up and with a winsome smile;

"the nurse is wrong,
she couldn't know,
that in here all the while everyday at noon He's here,
a dear friend of mine,
you see,
He sits right down,
takes my hand,
Leans over and says to me:

"I JUST CAME AGAIN TO TELL YOU, JIM,
HOW HAPPY I HAVE BEEN,
SINCE WE FOUND THIS FRIENDSHIP,
AND I TOOK AWAY YOUR SIN.
ALWAYS LOVE TO HEAR YOU PRAY,
I THINK ABOUT YOU EACH DAY,
AND SO JIM, THIS IS ME(GOD) CHECKING IN TODAY."

but only true friends will leave footprints in your heart. ==

May God hold you in the palm of His hand and Angels watch over you.

But for those of us who are already His,
He not only holds us in the palm of His hand,
but has engraved our names there,
and we are continually in His sight (Isaiah 49:16)

Yes, I do love God.
He is my source of existence and Savior.
He keeps me functioning each and everyday.
Without Him, I will be nothing
Without him, I am nothing
but with Him "I can do all things
through Him that strengthens me."
Phil 4:13

Journeys end,
someone you love depart.
Every phase of life will come to an end.
But every end is also a NEW BEGINNING.
It's up to you,

There is this 4 yr old child
whose neighbour is an elderly gentleman who just recently lost his wife.
Upon seeing the man cry,
the child climbed onto his lap,
and just sat there.
When his mother asked the boy what he said to the old man,
the boy replied..............
NOTHING.......I just helped him cry '

Why People Come Into Your life....

Hi Dee,

People come into your life
for a REASON, SEASON or LIFETIME.

When he come for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
He come to assist,
provide guidance and support,
aid you physically,
emotionally or spiritually.
Seem like Godsend.
He is there for a reason.
Then, for no reason,
he says or do something to bring the relationship to an end.

He may come for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
He bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
He may teach something you have never done.
He give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it, it is real.
But, only for a season!

LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons,
things you must build in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
You accept the lesson,
love the person and put what you learn
to use in all other relationships.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

For whatever it may be,
the experience will guide you to control your emotions.
Life can be unkind,
but it teaches one to be wiser.

Just say thank you,
for being a part of your life,
whether for a REASON,
a SEASON
or a LIFETIME.

What a Trip

You are driving in a car at a constant speed.

On your left side is a valley and on your right side is a fire engine
traveling at the same speed as you.

In front of you is a galloping pig which is the same size as your car
and you cannot overtake it.

Behind you is a helicopter flying at ground level.

Both the giant pig and the helicopter are also traveling at the same
speed as you.

What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?

Get off the children's "Merry-Go-Round", you're drunk.
